Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Teamzor platform at teamzor.com (the "Service"), operated by Teamzor ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Teamzor. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service. By using Teamzor, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

2. Account Registration

  • You may create an account using an email address and password, or by signing in through Steam.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • You may not create multiple accounts or share your account with others.
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Teamzor only for its intended purpose: managing competitive Counter-Strike 2 teams and related activities. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
  • Harass, abuse, threaten, or intimidate other users.
  • Impersonate other players, teams, or organizations.
  • Upload or share content that is offensive, defamatory, obscene, or violates the rights of others.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems.
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access the Service without our written permission.
  • Spam other users with invites, messages, or team requests.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service.
  • Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities instead of reporting them to us.

4. User Content

4.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you upload to Teamzor, including team logos, profile avatars, team descriptions, and event details ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.

4.2 Content Standards

User Content must not:

  • Infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights
  • Contain sexually explicit or graphically violent material
  • Promote hate speech, discrimination, or harassment
  • Contain malware, viruses, or malicious code

We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these standards without notice.

4.3 Public Profiles

Your display name, avatar, team memberships, and Faceit stats are visible on your public profile. Team names, descriptions, logos, and rosters are visible on public team profiles. You acknowledge that this information is publicly accessible.

5. Third-Party Integrations

Teamzor integrates with third-party services including Steam, Discord, and Faceit. These integrations are optional and user-initiated. By linking these accounts, you authorize us to access the data described in our Privacy Policy.

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of these third-party services.

6. Teams and Events

  • Team owners are responsible for managing their team, including invites, member roles, and events.
  • Team owners may transfer ownership or delete a team at any time. Deleting a team permanently removes all associated data including events, invites, and Discord integrations.
  • Members can leave a team at any time. Leaving a team removes your membership and event attendance records for that team.
  • Event data (titles, times, attendance) is visible to all team members.

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep Teamzor available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may:

  • Modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time with or without notice.
  • Perform maintenance that may result in temporary unavailability.
  • Change features, functionality, or pricing in the future.

Teamzor is currently provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid features in the future, which would be clearly communicated before any charges apply.

8. Account Termination

8.1 By You

You can delete your account at any time from the settings page. This will permanently remove your personal data, team memberships (you will be removed from all teams), and associated content. If you are the sole owner of a team, you must transfer ownership or delete the team before deleting your account.

8.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or if required by law. Where possible, we will provide notice before termination unless the violation is severe (e.g., illegal activity, security threats).

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TEAMZOR AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

  • Your use of or inability to use the Service
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
  • Any interruption or cessation of the Service
  • Any bugs, viruses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through the Service by any third party

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Teamzor and its operators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Portugal, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the competent courts of Portugal.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. If we make significant changes, we will notify registered users via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
